Technical issues between my new hosting arrangements and the 'Wordpress' software that I had used on my old blog 'My Mountain page' has finally lead to me having to remove it from the server today. Even though I'd not updated it since July it's still a little sad to see it having to go like this. I suppose I could have reloaded up onto the server with the latest version of the software, but that was going to be a very costly option, which is money I didn't really want to have to spend at present. So the birth of my new blog 'Walking with my camera' happened this morning, at 11.27 am! I haven't lost any of the posts from the old blog I was able to download the content from the server, and I do intend, time allowing, to integrate them into this one.

Ever since starting up the new 'mountains+sky' web site, I've trying to come up with idea's of how best to keep you informed of what is going on both with my walking and the photography side of things. I didn't really want to have two separate blogs, as that would make life really difficult for everyone. There's still a little bit of design work to do on the final page layout, so please bear with me, it's going to be nothing radical, just hopefully to make things easier for you the reader. So don't be too surprised if you find things a little different from when you last looked
