Loch Katrine

Date: Thursday, 27 January 2011
Area: Loch Katrine, Scotland

Our plan had been to climb Ben Venue, but when I woke up my neck had gone into spasm again and I my right arm/shoulder were extremely painful. So we ended up with a very pleasant walk along part of the northern shore of Loch Katrine instead. I'd not been there for nearly 40 years and had forgotten what a lovely place it was. We hardly saw a sole all the time we were there, just a couple of people walking and a few on mountain bikes. I doubt it would be that quite on a nice warm summers day though?
