Area: Glen Coe, Scotland
After listening to the weather forecast on Tuesday evening, we decided to head a little further north today onto Rannoch Moor and Glen Coe. Where the weatherman was predicting that the best of any brightness would be. After the grey murky day we'd had the previous day any hint of sunshine would be welcome. I've not really done much photography around the Rannoch Moor area before. I've been there loads of times before, but it's always been driving to some where else. So it would be nice to stop the car and explore a bit more, even if the weather wasn't brilliant, it still would be a good chance to recce the area for future trips. One of the spots I really wanted to try and find was the waterfalls with the Bauchaille Etive Mor behind them. I've seen shots of it before and it's a cracking view so it would be nice to have a go at it myself. It was actually a lot easier to find than I initially thought, it's only about a minutes walk from the Glen Etive road. The weather turned out to be a lot brighter with a mixture or sunny spells and snow showers, however, it was a lot of sitting around waiting patiently for the sun it hit the right spots on the mountains.
