We didn't have much spare time today due to other commitments. But we still wanted to get out for a short walk. So after doing everything else that we had to do, we headed over to Reeth in Swaledale. It's a great place, plenty of good walking with brilliant views. Today's walk would take us from the village down to the River Swale where we'd cross the 'Swing Bridge' before heading along the old 'Corpse Road' to the village of Grinton. From there we would follow Arkle Beck, well almost, back to Reeth. It was very easy walking, but very muddy underfoot after all of the recent wet weather.
