Walked Sheena and Tim Dawg
3 ºC, fresh SE winds, cloudy and dry
Latrigg - 1203' (aw206)
Start - Keswick - pay + display parking (NY265229)
Maps - OL Nº4 (1:25,000) or Landranger Nº89 (1:50,000) route mapgpx file

The weather forecast wasn't great for today, with low cloud and mist been predicted for just about the whole of the north, they did say any brightness could be expected to the west of Keswick. So we decided to head in that direction and see what it was like when we got there. The walk that we had in mind was to visit Latrigg and then head over to Castelrigg Stone Circle, it's a route that I'd seen Andrew Leaney do in December last year and thought it would make a good one for when the tops were shrouded in cloud, like today. With it been the start of the half term holidays it was very busy with lots of people out walking. Saying that though it wasn't too bad, it was just a shame that the weather was so murky as we know from previous visits to this area the views can be wonderful on a clear day!
