5 ºC, moderate SW winds, misty and dry

We had planned to do a walk on Farleton Fell today with some friends. However, the on going saga with the car meant I had to sort a couple of things out. Which meant that we wouldn't get over to join them in time. So not wanting to miss a walk altogether we ended up driving over to the northern slopes of Wild Boar Fell for a wander across Fell End Clouds. It's a lovely short walk over the limestone pavements, and on a clear day the views are excellent. Sadly today the weather didn't quite clear as per the forecast, so most of the walk was done in mist.
