I had hoped that my first walk in the Lakes for 2011 would have been a trip to Red Tarn and Catstycam. But following a really bad day with my neck, which meant me having to take plenty of medication I was still very unsteady on my feet and didn't really fancy going so high when I was going out solo. So I decided to pay a visit to Tarn Hows and Black Crag instead, I'm glad I did as I was very wobbly at times and still managed to fall over twice, luckily nothing got broke this time. This isn't good and I'm hoping that the doctors can get to the bottom of what's going on very soon. I'm still going to get out as much as I can, but it looks like lower level walks are going to be the order of the day for a while. Tim wasn't out with me today, he's on light walking duties at the moment. He hurt one of his back paws while we were out on Sunday, nothing too serious, just a strain, from slipping on the ice. It's much better after a couple of days rest, so hopefully he will be out for a wander at the weekend!
