This walk is a repeat on the walk we did to Angle Tarn on the 13th March. Little did we know then that we would be making a repeat visit so soon and under such sad circumstances. After the sudden death of our faithful walking companion Tim Dawg a few weeks ago we decided that it would only be fitting to make his final resting spot somewhere he could enjoy the fells he loved the freedom of so much. I think you'll agree with us that we ended up picking a lovely spot? Next time your passing Satura Crag and you here a distant bark, it's probably just Tim Dawg saying hello!

One of the small tarns on Satura Crag, this is the spot we choose to scatter Tim's ashes, couldn't think o a better spot for my special walking companion, who just loved running over of these fells. RIP Timmy ....
