It was here that the mist decided to descend

So that last few hundred metres to the summit of Pendle Hill was through thick mist

What a look of surprise on my face, it's Richard from the OFC, fancy meeting him here? He lives fairly local to Pendle Hill near to Burnley, and decided to have a local wander rather than head to the Lakes, you can see where he walked here ...

This large cairn had many plaques about the local scouts, so I'm assuming they had built it in the past?

At the bottom of the descent Jenny realised she didn't have the map in her coat pocket. This caused a wee bit of concern as it was the only one we had, it eventually turned up later on in Kevin's rucksack!
