Some friends of ours, Steve and Lorraine, who we know through the Online Fellwalking Club, where staying in Teesdale for a few days. We had arranged to meet them for walk on Sunday. This was their first visit to the area, so what better way to start it off, than with a walk along the river from Low Force to High Force. This was our second visit in two weeks, but we didn't mind, it's a great place and we never tire of walking there. It also meant that I had another excuse to take some more waterfall shots!
Back at Low Force again, at least there aren't any canoeists today!

To get onto the south side of the river to walk up to High Force we needed to cross the Wynch Bridge

The local rescue team were out training today, rather them than me, that water would be freezing!
