We had planned to save Castle Crag for our 214th Wainwright, since its the smallest. However, after the very wet day before and the forecast for the high fells been lousy we decided on staying low and visiting it today. As its not very far from Rosthwaite we extended the walk some what by first heading across the valley to Seatoller. Then after lunch on the summit we dropped down to Grange before climbing up to Watendlath on the other side of Borrowdale. here we enjoyed a delicious afternoon cuppa and some scones!
