First of all can I say a huge thank you to everyone that has left messages on the site and those who have sent emails. I hadn't realised that my trip to Everest Base camp would generate so much interest. I've been really slow in responding to them and I do apologize for this. I think I've managed to answer all of the emails, and will get round to the web site messages this week. Please keep leaving me the messages, they are really appreciated, and I promise I will get round to answering them all.

Well I was feeling a little better this week, I've still been have loads of problems with my head/neck. I went into hospital on Friday to have a scan done to see if they can find any reasons why I've getting so many headaches and numbness in my face. Fingers crossed that its good news when I go to see the doctor later this week. The weather forecast was really good for Saturday, I would have loved to get onto the high fells, but knew that I still wasn't ready for it. So we picked a lovely low level traverse around Loughrigg Fell. The autumn colours were just stunning, and they've not reached their best yet, so if you've got chance and the weather forecast is for a fine sunny day, you really must do this walk, I can promise that you wont be disappointed!
