After our soaking the day before and the weather forecast was for more rain, we decided to give the mountains a miss and give our boots tim to dry out. So after a big hearty breakfast we headed out to the Lleyn Peninsula, a place we'd never visited before. The idea was to give Tim as good run out on one of the beaches along the coast and to pick up a few supplies. It ended up Tim enjoying a run on several beaches in the end, I'm still finding sand in the boot of the car weeks later!
The view when we pulled up in the car park at Criccieth beach, I don't know who was the more eager to get out of the car, me or Tim
The approaching weather front was producing an amazing sky
Looking south over Tremadog Bay from the beach
I was very happy with the seascape shots that I got
Criccieth Castle
A frizzy Tim, his fur like this when he's wet
A rare pose from him
Sheena strolling along the beach, with the castle and village behind
Me wandering along the beach bedecked with camera equipment, this was supposed to be a dog walk, oh well never mind!
Tim didn't seem to care
He really loves the beach and playing in the sea
Ooops got some water in my ears!
Looking along the beach towards the distant Snowdonia mountains
Yippee this is fun!
So is this ....
Tim the sea monster!
Next we drove down the coast to Pwllheli beach
It made no difference to Tim, to him sand and water are the same wherever it is
This is probably my favourite photo I've taken of him, one for over the fire place
Aberdaron beach at the end of the peninsula
and yes you guessed it another swim for Tim!
Tim relaxing on his bed back at the cottage after a hard day on the beach!
