The old enclosures and buildings of Ayhope Shield, a long abandoned farm
Looking back across the moors, and the track we followed, from Pikestone Fell
A 'currick' on Pikestone Fell, our route (the yellow path) can be seen in the distance
Looking NW to Pikestone Fell, from the old quarry working on Cabin Hill
Hamsterley Forest from Cabin Hill
Entering back into the forest near the ruined farm of Metcalfe's House
