Looking across to Loughrigg Fell as I walked out of Grasmere village on the Easedale Road
A very wet Easedale seen from the path to Easedale Tarn
A closer view of the waterfalls in Sourmilk Gill, which were very impressive after all the recent rain
Looking back down the path, I almost turned round and headed back to the village at this point, it was so miserable
I'm glad I didn't as a few minutes later the sleet showers stopped and the sun came out as we approached the tarn
Looking across to Fairfield and Seat Sandal with a fresh dusting of snow
Easedale Tarn seen from the path climbing up to Blea Rigg
A rather wet but happy Tim!
More sleet/snow showers approaching
Another view down to the tarn as I reached just about the top of the rather wet and boggy path to Blea Rigg
A close up of Pavey Ark from Blea Rigg
Looking SE towards Silver Howe and Windermere from Blea Rigg
The Coniston fells seen from just SE of Little Castle How
Looking along the Langdale valley from near to Swinescar Pike
Zooming in on The Langdale Pikes and Bow Fell from the same spot
The Helvellyn range and Fairfield form Lang How
The Langdale fells from the large tarn near to Lang How (there's not much of the tarn left its nearly all reeds)
Blea Rigg and the Langdale Pikes from the summit of Silver Howe
Looking down onto Grasmere village from Silver Howe
Nab Scar and Heron Pike from the descent down from Silver Howe
Grasmere and Rydal Water
Looking towards Helvellyn as I walked back towards Grasmere
The lovely autumnal colours around Grasmere
Looking across the valley to Stone Arthur and Great Rigg as I dropped down into Grasmere
